Interesting interview with Alan Johnson

when they get the experimental stuff done then look for the team to be at the head of the pack. Am sure other teams are looking over their shoulders and getting worried.

Don't know the reporter but, this is a rare kind of feature from a mainstream newspaper. IMHO: Well done (if, a little, depressing).

Just what are you seeing that should "worry" the other TF teams ??
  • Car hasn't made it past the 2nd round since at least before E-Town,
  • Double digit qualifier at each of the last 3 events, and
  • Only an 80 point cushion for the last countdown spot with 3 races to go
I am not knocking the AJ team ... just curious about your extreme optimism towards what they are doing.

I recall he made reference several weeks ago that he is trying out some new setup.
Remember AJPE (think thats right Alan Johnson Performance Engineering)sells lots of parts to other teams. He has to try out new setups to get out in front of the other teams. He WILL kick asss as soon as they get the right combo. Yes it is depressing to see the team not going rounds. I think if they will revert back to their original set up as in Pomona if the tide dosen't turn into round wins. Say by Indy.
