Oh wait Hemi shootout, yeah I'm in, set the alarm for 3am to make the drive down. It's not like we ever sleep the night before heading to Indy anyways, we're worse then kids trying to sleep on Christmas Eve
Hey does anybody know what time zone Indy is in? They used to be an hour behind us in Michigan (EST) but someone told me recently that they no longer do daylight savings time.

Correct... Eastern Time - no daylight savings.

Actually, they now do daylight saving time, whereas prior to 2006, they did not follow DST. They are in the Eastern Time Zone and now that they follow DST, they stay on the same time as the rest of the East. Before when they didn't follow DST, they would be on the same time as the Central Time Zone when the East went on DST.

For my first Indy, my brother and I ended up leaving at 12:30 am Thursday we were so excited.
This year, planning on driving and leaving MSP no later than 6 am Thursday, possibly sooner... Greg??

You have it backwards. We actually DO observe DST now instead of being on EST all year round.

Funny you say that. I noticed on their website that they'll ship par-baked pizzas pretty much anywhere. Par-baked and then frozen with dry ice and shipped in an insulated container.
Somehow, I still don't think it'd be as good as a fresh one.
