I know everyone is used to going to this section, but just so everyone is aware there is an IHRA- specific section on this forum. Simply scroll down a little bit on the home screen and you will find it. 😉

Thanks for the info. A little confusing due to the fact that "IHRA" is under the "Race Class Coverage" subheading.
I suspect that Shannon is aware that there will be a lot more posts regarding the IHRA than there has been in the past so maybe there will be a change to the layout.

I may be wrong but I would think just because you mention IHRA in a post it may appropriate to post it in the NHRA section. Something like "I see that IHRA is doing X this year. Do you think NHRA will ever do this ? "

Would you like to see something different? I am very open to suggestions.

Shannon

Since it seems that so many don't know you can scroll down for more on the "Forums" tab, if you swapped the "IHRA" tab with the "ASK BOB" tab, then when someone hit the "Forums" tab they would see it.

If possible at the top of the page where it says "NHRA Eace Coverage> NHRA" if it just said Race Coverage with NHRA and IHRA next to each other people could click back and forth between them instead of having to hunt for either just my .02

I tend to agree, something like

NHRA
NHRA TV
IHRA
IHRA Coverage
What did Darryl buy this week
Ask Bob
Etc.

I think there will be lots of IHRA threads posted this next racing season might as well give them a spot on top.

For those that haven't noticed it yet, the Admins moved up the IHRA forum right below the NHRA forum on the list.
That is a good move. It makes much more sense and is now easier to find.

Now, we will see if the New IHRA can live up to its new status here on Nitromater.

That's where it used to be 20 years ago when IHRA still had National Events.

Thanks for the adjustment and I'll keep scrolling down every morning to the "Nitro Drag Racing Pictorial" and reminisce why "Sunday's Will Never Be the Same Again." :)

already has
Well there certainly has been a lot of hype. We will see this year if reality lives up to the hype.

For example, is there any one on here who can report if any work has started on the recently purchased Memphis track to put that place back together? There looks like a lot of work required to get that place in shape for one of the big IHRA events later this year. That's not a lot of time.

If you caught any of the videos circulating of the ground breaking ceremony, You will see that they have construction equipment there working on the site already. They aren't wasting any time.

Joe: I haven't seen any of those videos, but that is real good to hear.
