If you could bring back an old NHRA class ...

Been a fan for years Dave, I remember being a young kid buying the issue of DRUSA that had you and the car in the snow, I believe. Question: I know your green car is a new, re-creation. Is the brown Super Shops car an original, and is your grandson driving both?

Oh yeah---and there is just something way cool about a mid-year Corvette couple leaving the starting line at over 10 grand with the front wheels high in the air.:D

Have you noticed the way Charlie Westcott's Cuda, a Super Mod Cobalt ,or the new COPO's leave?

We just don't strive to do that anymore cause.....going up is not going forward;)

I appreciate all the well wishers who want AA/FAs included in some sort of NHRA class. But, please don't do us any favors. When the AA/FA group in 1973 decided not to accept the "NO NITRO" mandate and go out on our own, we've never looked back...

Thanks Dave for putting it into prospective. It's those very same reasons why we don't go to many Heritage races here on the West Coast. I suppose I could live with seeing you guys a couple of times a year. ;)

The Super Nanook is a re-creation, the original is/was available but it's been trashed. The new car was built, painted and lettered by the original gang that did the 1975 car. Yes, my grandson Kyle is driving both cars.
