I think they screwed up my order at the factory. Look at those panel gaps! :D

Sadly, the car's a bit too small for me.

Sam, got a red one on my nightstand... and a black one parked out front... :D the red one doesn't need tires as often :(

Dude, you got me good.:) I was already jealous.:D

I have a few, most are '67's & 70's. I'm looking at my beautiful Yellow Boss 302 sitting on top of my television now. I'm a sucker for Mustang diecast. Hopefully one day soon I'll be able afford an already restored Boss 351 Cleveland & a brand new Shelby that I can drive around the block.

Oh yeah, I also want another '94 GT (which I use to have & foolishly traded in), a couple or 4 or 5 Fox bodies, a classic 64 1/2, a '67 Shelby, '71/'72 Mach 1, any Roush 'Stang, a '63 convertible Falcon, a '69 Farlaine Cobra, a 63/64 Ranchero, a '68 Ranchero, a 60 something Galaxie, a... heck I need to win Powerball or something.
I really don't want much...:D

What I really want is a BOSS429... Heck, I just want the SHOTGUN with a C6 behind it, and I'd love to shoehorn it into a Mustang II...

OOOHhhhh those are awesome pieces, aren't they? True story: In 1985 I got a 1970 Fastback for my High School Graduation present. The car was perfectly painted cherry red, interior all black. It had a 289 in it. PLENTY of power for a 18 year old kid, right? But my Dad at the time was still into racing... so he found a Boss 429 motor at a swap meet in Pontiac Michigan..... which he also bored out & hopped up. Holy Crap; that was basically a race car with a nice interior & a license plate. I still say to this day my Dad shoulda' been charged with child abuse!!!!! thinking back, who in thier right mind would give that beast to a teenager as an everyday driver? That firckin car was outrageous. At 18 years old...... I went through 3 sets of rear tires on that thing. It was a very nice car though. And fun as hell. To this day I judge any car I drive based upon that friggin monster.

Now that was sweet! What ever happened to it?

Ahh, thinking of a BOSS429, or any Boss, just makes me feel all warm & fuzzy inside.:p
...shoehorned into a Mustang II, that'd be interesting.

John Brown!! That's a beautiful car Tom!!!! What's under the hood (you may have told me before, if so I've forgotten:o ). Man, that's one sweet ride! Thanks for showing it to us.

Thanks, Vince! The shortblock is a stock 1998 4.6 litre SOHC Ford. The heads and intake are from a 2000 model. Ford made major changes in the 99-04 heads (better flow, smaller combustion chambers) and when bolted on the 96-98 block yields a nice compression bump. Beyond that I've got nearly every bolt-on, Bassani exhaust, 31-spline Mosers, 4.30's, etc., etc., etc. I'll see if I can dig up a little cleaner shot of it with the street wheels.

Nice.:) How often is it driven... daily?
