The last time something like this happened Baytown was flooded for a few months before it tried out.

I think we're all keeping the eye on this one. I have family in College Station, about 1.5 hours north of Houston. They might get nailed too.

I just realized the NHRA has an event planned to race at this drag strip later this year.

I remember when Hurricane Herma passed through a few years ago and after that storm I think Baytown was underwater for months.
That was when they decided to parked thousands of water damaged cars on their property and they closed the drag strip for many months.
