leave the format, as is and hire a 'Hi end' video producer, to try and close the gap, from experiencing it 'in person' to watching it on TV. To the average person who doesn't follow Drag racing, watching a pair of the nitro cars racing, comes across as pretty 'Meh' on Television

In the late 60's, drag racing was pretty damn extreme and there wasn't much that put on a better show(oil downs and all). We all have to accept the fact that drag racing today (like a beloved grandparent) is in its end game and we all should enjoy it while it is still here.
