Didn't Ashley get involved in some kind of Barbie doll promotion a few years ago.
Us dirty old men would not strongly object to Ashley going the bathing suit route, but, that route seems like it would lessen her creds as a racer?
After all, Tony Schumacher isn't posing for Cosmopolitan any time soon!

When you ask my 5 year old daughter who she want's to be like when she grows up, she'll answer without a moment of thought - Ashley Force-Hood. Her Nana is a die-hard Danica fan, but I have no interest is having her look up to Danica. Ashley has built her following on merit and hard work, I'm not saying that Danica hasn't, I just think to me the calendars, and Go-Daddy commercials, etc are not something that I want my daughter to look up to.
I personally would rather have someone be less known (A F-H) in the world outside of racing than I would have them be known as a Go Daddy girl.

Hmmm… how is the sexy stuff a detriment…? I love that stuff. Not too crazy about Danica, but it has nothing to do with the Go-Daddy commercials and the SI photo-shoots. Just don’t appreciate the temper-tantrums, and general spoiled-brat behavior. However, if she can pull off the NASCAR thing (and, based only on her ARCA performance, it appears she might…), I’ll be the first to give her all the kudos she deserves, as the first female to succeed there.
Not too sure just what this has to do with the subject-at-hand, but Ashley is way nicer to look at than Danica…

The link is to Danica getting a Hot Wheel designed by her released- what does that have to do with her body???
Ash carried the Hot Wheels/ Mattel logo- how did she not get the same opportunity first- especially with Mattel's attention to the Snake and Mongoose anniversary last year?

Joe, there is no comparison between the reach of Danica Patrick and that of Ashley Force... here's something to chew on: ESPN2 and the Speed channel both reported significant ratings gains for broadcasts of Patrick's races.
Sorry Joe, but drag racing will never equal the reach of the NASCAR juggernaut.
