Until NHRA start's buying up tracks, (That will never happen) drag racing will always be the stepchild of racing. Long time track owners are
ready to sell and land isn't getting any cheaper.

When was the last time someone built a 1/4 mile track? Seems to me like the news ones are 1/8, probably cuz of cost. What do you think it would cost to build the Texas Motorplex today?
