And she is not getting the attention she deserves at this point either! Holy crud, she's number 2 in a season dominated by one car. This is huge but of course the tv folks have totally missed it while fawning over Tony.
Huge congrats to her and the entire Kalitta team on a great season. Hopefully today's coverage will address this.
I met Hillary 3 yrs ago at Sonoma and was totally impressed by her. She grew up close to where I live and we talked for quite awhile. She was also soo sweet with my kids. I really hope she finds a full time ride. She deserves it and wow #2 in points! AWESOME!!!!!!
I met Hillary at Norwalk a few years back when Norwalk was still IHRA, and she was very nice and I was impressed by her. She would be very marketable for a sponsor I would think.
I echo everything said about Hillary in this thread. I met her in Columbus three years ago and she was so warm and friendly, I felt like I knew her all my life. You would think she'd be a sponsor's dream. She's getting very good as a driver too. For her to leave on Doug Kalitta in the first round is impressive. She's so tiny though. It's hard to believe she drives a 8000 hp monster, but that she does. I hope she gets a sponsor next year. She's one of the great faces of the NHRA. As far as the Alan Johnson ride,....I pretty convinced it's going to be Dixon, but we don't know yet.
