Hey 'Maters, Matt's theme for this weekends race, the Autolite sponsorship (Honeywell) takes me back a few years to one of my favorite independent racers, Bob Gilbertson. I miss having him and Beserko out there, but can certainly understand why he isn't. Finding the funding to just get out once in a while, much less be competetive, has really been tough the last several years. Bob, thanks for the memories...and for doing those tribute cars for Jungle Jim too.

PS: And in case some of you don't know, Tommy Delago, Matt's crew chief was the crew chief for Gilby back in the day, and another rising star, JR Todd, was a crew member for him too. Cool
