I kinda feel bad for the guy actually. He's out there bustin his butt with a bunch of used parts which most likely don't belong out there on the race track. What do you tell the guy?

this is where the testing rule really hurts guys. If he wants points he can't go to match races in order to test and make some cash to improve his program
I hope he didn't make another risky decision and bypass hooking up the safety shutoff in the name of qualifying ... if he did, he's done. Did you notice the attention his car got from the Tech. folks after the car was removed from the track? in a related note... HOW IN THE HECK DID THE CHUTES NOT DEPLOY?
FIRST, the burst panel popped, (which based on recent evidence, all a fuel car has to do is sneeze and the car will deploy the chutes).
SECOND, the new auto-deploy system at 1,400 foot.
