Haddock....

I'm sure there's some racers in Australia , Europe and the States that won't agree with you.
Maybe add some ex-wives & girlfriends to that list too... He didn't get the nickname of the "Stinky Fish" by accident...:(

Come on Jerry, don't sling mud in the guys face. We all have our problems, but to bring personal issues up is uncalled for.

The way I see it is the NHRA does need to contain the situation because it is something like 6 or 7 races in a row he has caused serious downtime (20 minutes or more). I'm not sure what the answer is to fix his problems, because from what I have read, he doesn't have money to throw at it and unless he can get some FREE assistance and probably healthy parts, it won't fix itself.
Its such a shame too, he does have a real decent A-B tuneup or at least he showed that the first 15 races last year.

That's the problem , he doesn't have his own tune-up... At times he has had someone helping him that did...
When he's on his own, it's a mess... Terry works hard , yes - but, when a person is always repairing major damage ... then there's no time for the finer points of tuning a Nitro burning money eater...
Most people that try to help him ultimately have problems with his "stories" & payments.
I give him a lot credit for having a golden tongue, and good intentions,
but soon people find out that it's not gold he's spreading...
Not slinging mud , just providing another point of view to the "great guy" statement...

I'm sure there are people that would agree your an a$$hole. While your living in your glass house you might want to avoid throwing stones. I know they worked all winter getting ready and after Pomona they changed everything on the car and even brought in Paul Smith to help them out.

That's fine I can take it...
Go ahead put up the list of people that I didn't pay while running my fuel cars...
I was on open account with every supplier...
... Then add to list the people that say I lied to them about my obligations...
After you get that list finished tell folks the number of times that I threw the rods out
(twice while testing a new Nitro additive for Angus)...
during the six years ('85-'91) that we ran over 30 dates a year at NHRA, IHRA and match races...

hey look Jerry....new people that think you are an a$$hole......but i still love you :D

Then I'll let THEM call him "Stinky Fish". I'll continue to call the guy Terry.

I respect your imput Jerry, but Terry Haddock has always been polite and up front with me. I can't comment on other peoples opinioin of the guy.

I don't know Haddock, but I would have to guess from reading different posts from a number of different people on other racing sites, Jerry knows what he speaks. ;)

Jerry I do know and race with. He only stretches the truth when we are swapping lies, and he doesn't owe me any money. :D

yeah , but you know what a sweet + kind + fun guy that i am at the race track ...
I just play an a$$hole on the internet ... ;)

YEP!!!!!!

As a humble graduate of Jeff Gaynor's course on internet ettiquette I might suggest you sign up for a course.

But then again, I've been told that ONGs are hard to teach!!:D;)
