Congrats, Melanie! I wish she had been the first female to win FC but she can brag that she's the first to win both nitro classes. She's a great driver, a great spokesperson and just a class act.

Neff would have taken it if they could have did what they needed to do. Melanie was the beneficiary of that problem with that being said a Win is a Win you take them anyway you can get them congrates to Melanie, Mike, Brian and the entire crew!

I don't blame Neff for being pissed it was his race to loose he had the most consistent car all weekend.

Am I the only one who thought it was odd (in Neff's interview after the final) that he said he wouldn't have run it had he known it was not capable of going from A to B? Or something to that effect.
I would have assumed that he is "in tune" with the mechanical aspects of the car he drives. Being a former crew chief and all.
Not trying to knock him or anything. I just found it a little odd he claimed he was not aware.
Anyway, great job by that team. They are going to be serious contenders for the title by the end of the year.

You are not the only one Mark, when he stabbed the throttle I said to myself WTF is he doing? If he was still crew chiefin' he would have been pretty upset with his driver after a stunt like that!

Don't get me wrong, I like Zippy and I am not hatin' on the man, somebody should have reminded him on the radio to only stage the car, not to run it even though if he was honest with himself he would probably should have known ....
