"Big" announcement. Sorry, NHRA has cried wolf too many times in the past. Seems their definitions of "big", "major", and/or "huge" are something different than that of most people.
I doubt most care at this point and are just content to wait to hear then rather than find out now.

I've been trying to think what it could be. Capps has already come out and said Maddie will be in his TF car next year. The thought came to me that Force is announcing a '26 retirement tour, but I really doubt that. Brian said it will make some people happy, which makes me think it's not just a sponsor announcement. Maybe Brittney is stepping out after this season to start a family?

Not sure either one of those would be considered a "big announcement". Sampey is testing in TF too, for what that's worth. Hell, I don't know - Elon Musk bought the NHRA?
It might have something to do with JFR. Brittney may be hanging it up in order to raise a family. Force could be announcing a return to driving (not very likely) or announcing his retirement from driving (more likely). Hight could be returning. Could be lots of things. We'll find out in a couple of weeks.
I can't see why that would make some people happy. Plus, she was at Bradenton, so wouldn't think they would have been there if she is going to hang it up.
The NHRA TV lineup is old news now, so it can't be that.
Bode/Worsham maybe, but that doesn't add another car to FC. And we still haven't heard a thing about Hight.
I agree that it is very good to have our old friend Berserko Bob back on board after several years on the sidelines.
