Four-Wide It still stinks

A question for both camps (lovers and haters). How tough is 4x on the CC's do you think?

I haven't seen that question asked around the pits during the tv shows (unless I missed it), but it has to be tough dealing with twice the amount of lanes to figure out, with possibly, at best, a single run per lane before elims. With the rain shortened quals, it must have been SUPER tough on the Chiefs.

I dunno, Kevin, I'm guessing everyone just went to the lanes they had already run in, so they were ok.

No new screen, just the NHRA unit. There was talk of having a screen at the start line area, but they would have had to take down some of the sponsor boards, and they didn't want to lose that revenue.

or in other words it just didn't happen for this spring's race, for whatever
reasons.....when bruton put the huge display on the track across the parking
lot it was at the time the largest video display anywhere, and still even
may be.
read article recently that these large video displays in arenas are all the rage
and what the fans want to see but the price tag breaks even many years
into the future so it doesn't surprise that zmax dragway in concord, nc has
passed while it's sister oval track that draws and holds 100+ has in place.

I remember when Bruton put that in and a bunch of the Nascar fans that is on a nascar site that I am on were *****ing and moaning about it. The ungreatful whiny little pricks were saying that the only reason he was putting it in was for is ego, so that he could say that he had the largest screen. What a bunch of nerds.
