Force's Rant??

Emotion, pressure, rant, general pissiness.....who cares....this is good! Get fired up for god's sake....throw water bottles, kick the car....Drag racing is not mamby pamby land folks! :D

I agree. I don't blame Force one bit for being upset, but I don't think he was out of line or anything.

To run a 3.99 and see the other car out the window pulling away by several car lengths had to have sucked no matter who was running along side. Being it was the black and purple one only made it worse.

Emotion is great! I don't care what form it is in racing. I did not see "the rant". However, ESPN elluded to the "The Rant" twice on the broadcast Sunday. Then John did apologize for "the rant." To my knowledge however ESPN did not reair "the rant" after leading the viewer in that direction twice. This is what you would call bad tv. But it happens. There are a million positives ESPN has accumulated over the years.

I thought it made GREAT television.

What do you think Shirley would have said if it was her? (Well that would have been even BETTER television, but this was still pretty good!).

Oh for the days of Hofmann and then Bazemore!

I just watched it again (I got it on dvr). it wasn't really a rant (didn't really say very much as he usually does, or said anything bad), but he did look plenty pi$$ed off. The apology was probably more about being seen pi$$ed off while being on tv.

I didn't think that was very much of a rant either. He just seem frustrated. In fact, it was somewhat of a miracle ... John actually walked away when there was a camera and a microphone in his face! Usually have to tell him the interview is over LOL. I thought it was interesting, but I don't think it was anything he needed to apologize for.

To explain, by "bad tv" I mean the producer of the show should have maybe put the Rant in the Sunday telecast since the broadcast booth brought it up twice , and to show what the all-time great was apology for.

The whole point here is, haters got to hate. They haven't had much lately so they will take any crumb they can get.
