He is doing well all things considered...broke his jaw in 2 places had surgery for that. bit his tongue pretty bad. Surprisingly no other broken bones. Can't say so much for the car...it was sacrificed to keep him safe.

Glad to hear he'll recover. My thoughts and meditations.
The tongue is the fastest healing piece of tissue in the body. Sure makes a strong case for a mouth guard doesn't it?

They had to cut the car up to get him out...he was pretty tangled up in there we where told. they cut the roof off and then cut most of the bars out. from what we where told the left front tire was pushed up into the footbox and the steering column was in the back seat!!!

Little more info... first of all...a recovery fund has ben set up for Kenny.

next....driver update.. He is doing well. had to go back in and do some more repairs on his jaw. They also found a broken wrist. He is in good spirits and can't wait to get back to the track.
Car reports...The bar that runs behind the drivers seat...common place for belts to attach..was bent forward. The previous report of the steering column being in the back seat was wrong.. the column stayed in tack. The steering wheel however was folded over. The rest of the car was sold to another racer as a parts car.
Will update if there is more to pass on.
