I can tell by your post that you definitely DON'T know Alexis at all. I wish you could get a job working with her for a while and then get back with me and let me know if you still think your post describes her at all. Because, the truth is that she is just the opposite of everything you just said... except the rich part.

I am not saying she is a bad person, I believe you and she might do anything to help some one out. I know what you are saying BUT the fact is she can do whatever she wants and not risk much. She wants it she buys it. I have worked with a lot of well off people, fly around on private jets they own, yes they are generous and do a lot of good helping others but they are above "us"

If you reread your post you will notice that the first two words that came to your mind was spoiled, and entitled. That is not really describing a good person, and definitely doesn't describe her.

So, you honestly think, with all the unemployed drivers out there, she would have a ride without Daddys money?

If you can not bring a sponsor with you, you are not driving at that level.
I don't even know why you are asking that question. The fact is their company is sponsoring her to drive a race car which in turn employs a lot of crewmembers that may not have had a job otherwise, and it gives the fans one more car to watch on race weekends. I don't know if you have noticed but the car counts have not been that great in the last couple of years, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

She's real, she could do a lot of things we could only dream about, she puts herself in a 320mph rocket and puts it ALL out there every time she hammers the loud pedal, love her !!!!

OK I could of used different adjectives for my description, I am not trying to bash her, but as I stated I have worked with and for people of this caliber, when you have that much, there is zero consequences for your actions. You do not need to filter yourself. Fine her, how much? 10,000? thats pennies to her. pull her sponsor? can't. ban her from tv? NHRA needs her. They do a lot for racing, employ a lot of people but most other drivers would be packing their forest right now.

As my youngest son asked when he was around 12. Dad who decided that F is a bad word?

That is so funny you mention that. My Lady and I were just having this debate last week. Aside from taking the Lord's name in vain, it would be interesting to research just how ANY currently identified curse word was determined to be? I'm sure the answers are out there and can be found with very little effort, but it's made virtually no sense to me regardless. Lol!

The 1st thing that came to my mind was that Fox F***** up by not having a 7 second delay.
When you put a microphone in front of someone that has that much adrenaline going, you get what you get.

It's easy to armchair quarterback it. Look, I'm a Sailor - there is nothing you can say that I haven't heard or said myself (sometimes in multiple languages).

One could make the case that as a society we're generally seeing a decline in respect for our fellow citizens all over this great land & maybe that is a contributing factor. But my experience has been that if an individual surrounds themselves with folks who speak and act a certain way then that language/behavior tends to come out occasionally when the individual is outside of that group... particularly when stress is involved. I try very hard to be respectful in public, but I'm human and I fail like everyone else. I've never driven a Nitro Funny Car, but I'm guessing it's mildly stressful on a good run, and downright infuriating when you get out of the car and know you alone cost yourself and your team a round win.

If I were to assign blame here (and I'm not), I would look to FS1 before I looked at Alexis. As mentioned above, stress brings out emotion and emotion leads to deed or word without clear thought. If FS1 didn't put a microphone in her face, we're not having this conversation. If they want to keep asking those questions under stressful situations, then they should be prepared to mute or otherwise prevent foul language from airing in the future.

This may be a dumb question, but aren't LIVE events actually delayed a few seconds for exactly these situations? Out of all the pro sports on live TV 24/7, I can't believe Alexis is the first to let an F-bomb (or 2 lol) slip.

Jesse James described some of you best on twitter yesterday, get a life people. I would much rather have someone show some passion vs. being a robot.
Not sure I'd consider anything that tool said as being a positive. I'm not offended by anyone's language in this case, it is what it is, but to back anything up with , " Jesse James said.." isn't going to help sway me. That guy is a perfect example of how not to act. Everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie and he's always had a sense of arrogance that is unmatched by anyone I've ever heard of.

I agree. FS1 knows there might be some "colorful" language from these drivers right after a run. They should be prepared for it with their "bleeper" button. Dave Rieff apologizing for it AFTER the fact doesn't get it, IMO. FCC frowns on having this type of language hitting the airways...live broadcast or not. FS1 should be more responsible. By now I'm sure Alexis has heard all the talk and will watch her language next time.
