ESPN 3 Nice!!! Thank You!

Been watching it for a couple of hours now. Up until a couple of minutes ago, they were showing an overhead shot of Cory Mac's crew working on his digger. That was very cool to watch. It's back now, and looks like they've gotten everything buttoned up and are ready to go. Could hear Alan in the back ground.

Enjoyed the coverage.... pretty dang good all the way around... and really loved the results....

Generally good coverage (no features on the motorscooter or the cat...).

The good-Shirley (wouldn't she be a hoot as a color commentator with Dunn doing the play by play.) Angelle getting props for her awesome achievements. Big Daddy stuff. Early Prudhomme stuff. Rieff did a creditable job. The Reyes piece (good job stat guy)

The not so good-Missing the Shawn Langdon story of the day. Too much time with Jeg Sr. No serious reportage of the VERY ODD pro stock fire(s). No reportage of how NHRA allowed a one lane racetrack at their biggest race. No shots of Jim Head's t-shirt enterprise. Hello....knock knock!....Morgan Lucas was at the race today. Can't we get a feature on Steve Torrance and his very fast bucks down team?(imagine how many races he would have won in Larry Dixon's ride) How come nobody had the ^$%$ to ask AFR about the mommy rumors? No Prudhomme interview. No McCullogh (sp) interview.

and.....couldn't you just once show the sportsman finals?

!!!You go Greg Stanfield!!!!

Mark this is actually in reference to online coverage from ESPN3, not tv coverage from ESPN2. The pieces and interviews you mentioned aren't shown on this coverage, and the sportsman finals are. Just need to log on next time. :)

DARN! - I didn't know it was going to be available on the computer.

I won't miss the next one.

No commercials, live as it happens, coverage of Alky classes and Pro Mod, even get to watch the sportsman classes. Doesn't get much better than that for the unfortunates that don't get to be there in person.

This is the best thing since sliced bread and the Oldsmobile big block. My wife is happy I've found a way to watch the proceedings live, but it's with a touch of ambivalence, as she's also discovered I tend to hang around the computer for most of the day when this happens. I try to exercise as much discipline as I can, but there are time when it's "Yeah honey, I'll get to it in a minute, they're almost ready for the semis!"

Heads up Tampa people! ESPN3.com is coming to Bright House subscribers sometime in October:cool: However I don't know if this applies to Orlando or our outer markets in Bakersfield, Birmingham, Indianapolis and Detroit.
