Entry list showing 15 FC. Terry Haddock not make it there or not make a run. Only 14 FC ran. Same with Top Fuel Entry list showing 18 .TF. Didn't see times for Doug Foley, Scott Palmer, Buddy Hull and Joe Morrison. only 14 TF ran. So what's the story?

They all didn’t show up

This year NHRA changed the procedure to sign up. You no longer have to pay to register and now it gets deducted out of your winnings.

So for this year there is no money lost if you sign up and no show.

Prior you had to pay when signing up for events. If you removed your name before the cut off you received a credit to be used at a later date. If you didn’t you lost the registration cost.

A total win win for the smaller teams. Especially during the countdown.

I don’t see why. The registration fee was only around $130. NHRA still gets it.

I thought the pro's didn't pay a entry fee?

Definitely stinks. All pro classes had 14 except bikes, which had 15. No drama for Q3.

I remember when 30+ pro mods would show up to qualify.

Sucks from a fans perspective.
