I think DSR has 3 Funny Cars and Terry Chandler has 1 (under the umbrella). Having said that, I'd bet the Sanford deal is the best speculation.

I found this a little while ago: https://www.facebook.com/AshleySanfordDragRacing/photos/a.429006963824420.92242.425291230862660/961220423936402/?type=1&theater

I had an extremely awesome day hanging out and watching the Indy test sessions! I'm currently dreaming about being in the seat of one of these incredible cars but I know God will make it happen in his timing! I've got exciting news to tell you all tomorrow and I can't wait! Stay tuned!

Paul, that's a badass shot of your altered! You still in Avondale?

Ok I'll add to the rumor.
Castrol is coming on board with a second generation Indy car driver in a TF car.
keeping with the open wheel format.

Both "Make a Wish" and "Infinite Hero" are supported by the wonderful Terry Chandler. She chose two non-profit charities to support through displaying their colors for "free" on some haul ass funny cars.

Wonder what policy he could have broke, big mistake for his career and real said for the team. Doesn't sound like he will put anyone in that seat

Refresh my memory, hasn't this happened before with Massey? And to release him right before Indy, and lose a car in the countdown?

There is probably no funding for that team without Massey unless DSR puts up the funding. I would think the current funding was contigent on Massey driving.

MASSEY RELEASED FROM DON SCHUMACHER RACING
AUGUST 28

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (Aug. 28, 2015) – Effective immediately, Spencer Massey has been released from Don Schumacher Racing as driver of the Red Fuel Powered by Schumacher/Sandvik Coromant Top Fuel dragster in the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series.

“Spencer is no longer with DSR,” team owner Don Schumacher said Friday evening.

“He violated a DSR policy and would not correct the violation. I feel badly for members of the team because they will not be able to compete for a world championship or next weekend’s Traxxas Shootout title.”

There will be no further comment from DSR regarding this decision or the future of the team.
