After coming out of nowhere (well, unless you follow nitro bikes), this guy really is a dark horse for rookie of the year! Very impressed with his performance so far.

You got that right, Mel! I would have to go with Paul's assessment, though. Two finals in three starts makes him the frontrunner in my mind so far. There's a lot of year left, and unfortunately, even if he carries it through, I'm afraid of him having to overachieve because of the class he runs. I hope I'm wrong.

this looks to be one of the best rookie of the year battles that I can remember. Horne and Hagan would have to be the front runners but langdon is right behind them. Does Spencer still have rookie status? if so that's one heck of a 4 way battle
