Dodge getting back into NASCAR

NASCAR budget for a year vs Pro Stock budget for a multi-car team with Championship drivers........

we all know how many cars get wrecked at NASCAR events vs the occasional P/S on it's roof

A new body style must be presented to NASCAR at least 13 months prior to debut. That number may 17 months. Just in case anyone cares. "MOPAR: Chrysler corporation parts, and the Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, Eagle and Jeep dealers who sell and install them." Get some!!!

This is also a good idea if you plan on the life route with spouse. Get some! x 2!

Not really, a 2006 BGN engine isn't anywhere near compatible with today's Cup engines.

For Dodge to return to NASCAR they'll probably need a clean sheet of paper for an engine design. Making it even more challenging, nobody builds a Dodge engine since Penske switched to Ford in 2013. There's a few that refresh and maintain the last of the Penske P5/R7 2012's, but even then a 2012 design won't get the job done if or when Dodge decides to re-enter NASCAR. There's only a handful of engine builders remaining that are capable of taking on such a project. After figuring out what route they will go for engines the next step will be finding a team, or teams that will sign on. Building the cars is actually not that high on the priority list.
