Still makes you wonder if something is up.

For those that remember me from before, I am a HUGE mega fan of the Snake/Dixon team. I doubt that there are many people that want Larry to stay with Snake more than me, BUT, I won't feel comfortable until I see Larry strap into the US Smokeless Tobacco car in Pomona at the Winternationals in Pomona 2009. My money is on Dixon staying.

I thought it was open ended too, although I agree, Dixon belongs in a Snake dragster.

I have a feeling that AJ hasn't, and won't announce his driver selection until the season is over with because it does involve a currently employed driver. Time will tell.

Certiantly an eyebrow raiser when Snake announces the CREW is locked in for '09 without ever mentioning the driver though......

Larry's answer sounded like this to me, "AJ offered me the ride with a huge signing bonus, I told Snake there's a lot of green on the table and Snake said I'll get back with you". When you have a wife and kids in a sluggish economy, loyalty doesn't buy bread.
