Man, This is hard to take..How about Dandy Dick Landy at the Springnationals, THUNDER VALLEY USA ..back in the late 60's... Always had nice looking rides and the patented "cigar ." We're gonna miss you Big Guy !

The drag racing world has lost another pioneer and legendary personality. I'll always remember watching a bit on Wide World Of Sports that had an in-car camera show Dick banging the 4 speed of what I remember to be a Charger R/T with that trademark stogie.

RIP Dick.
