Hey Joe, I'd shown my hubby your pics from Indy. As we walked the pits this weekend he kept pointing out "eye candy" he hoped you got pics of...I kept offering to take the shots for him but he wouldn't let me. I think you got most of them though. We saw the marilyn mason kids too....how they didn't pass out from heat exhaustion is beyond me!

Once again, terrific photos! I hereby nominate Joe Sherwood as the Official Photographer of Eye Candy and Racecars of Nitromater.com.

It would be pretty hard catching those kind of pics with a gal with me! I could just see some gal going "Hey there's one"!:D

My wife does that for me all the time, if I miss one she will point me in the right direction. Nothing better than having your wife help you spot the eye candy.

I'm not sure which I like better the pics or the captions. Okay I do know which I like better but the captions still crack me up.

I've always done that....even with no camera handy. It's not unusual for me to point out a beautiful lady for a significant other. How come they don't want to return the favor and point out hot guys for me??!! :)

Male ego or is that eggo?

I have done it before for the wife, but unfortunately for her most of the guys in public places fall in to the category of "can you believe he went out of the house like that"

We like the county fair just so we can grab a cool drink and a shady tree and watch the show walking by. Some of it is just unbelievable.

Great pix Joe, you seem to find the breast...oops best looking ladies. For the cars you already have the captions right, that is a 57 Chevy , the cheapo models had that side trim. It's a yellow MGB in that other one.

I never even noticed #27 and 28 had feet until it pointed out. :)

You deffinately have put your own perspective on your race pics Joe...Don't think anyone can say you don't enjoy the sites....;)...It was good seeing you again and the rest of the Mater gang as well...

Joe - excellent pics! Some really nice cars in there. Thanks for the non-pro cars. I like seeing those. I like to cruise those pits, but you never see the same cars you know (different divisions).

I think this is a '55: - Kingnitro : photos : NHRA Dallas '07 : Nice looking '57 chev! - powered by SmugMug
and yes, the '57 - Kingnitro : photos : NHRA Dallas '07 : Another Nice '57 Wagon - powered by SmugMug

Check out the differences in the side panels (trim). Unless he just has '55 trim on the '57 in the first one and I don't know the Tri-5's as well as you (quite possible).

DLB
Both 57s, just the car is/was the plain Jane 210. As for Mike's Wagon (which he's had forever) was a more expensive body style.

Thanx for the show, man!
Great pix Joe, you seem to find the breast...

Always enjoy the pics Joe. My wife always points out the "eye candy" to me. Here are a few you missed or couldnt get shots of over the weekend curesty of my buddy Jack on his website:

B r a c k e T r a s h -- DEDICATED TO THE BRACKET SCENE IN TEXAS!

Just click on the top right "07 Fall Nats" link once the page loads. Its just a local bracket racing website but Jack's son Jay is one of the best racers around and they were there running stock.

Looks like my spies were sleeping! How could I miss those Hotties!

Nope. That was a 150. The 210 (My dad owned a '57 210 station wagon.) has what most people consider the normal side spear, but without the ribbed fill panel that the Bel Air had.

Great pictures, as always Joe. I always look forward to seeing them.

Thanks for posting them.

Robert's correct. It's a 57. Had a few of them myself. The first was a 150 which was the lightweight stripped down model. Made great racecars.

Great stuff, as always Joe. Thanks :)

Nice pics Joe, as always, great job...the little girl in #24 is my Niece Brianna, My sister in law took her to the sprinklers to cool off, when they got back she said a guy took my picture, he was big with lots of hair and a BIG bud light in his hand.....I knew right away who she was talking about. :p
