Dale Brand - Tornado? (1 Viewer)

I just caught part of a story on the radio, but from what I heard, it sounded like Dale Brand's business building in Iowa was hit by a tornado?

MY UNDERSTANDING,

and I haven't been able to reach Dale for confirmation,

is that the machine/repair shop building took a direct hit,
the older of the 2 manufacturing buildings sustained some roof and wall damage, and the new building suffered minor damage.
I also BELIEVE that Dale's home sustained some damage as well.
Thankfully it happened on a Sunday evening and NO ONE was injured in the storm.

Rain is forecast for today, and they are working to get the facility secured against any further damage. Electrical & phone service has yet to be restored to the Co-Line facility, so getting a first hand repaort from Dale hasn't been possible. Obviously their primary concern is to restore the facility and resume production as quickly as possible.
Knowing the resolve of Dale Brand and the midwestern determination, they will be back on line shortly.
If I get any further information I'll pass on as soon as I can

Wow, that sucks. Dale is a nice guy and that facility looked like a beautiful place from the pics on the Co-Line website. I hope the damage isn't too bad.

It looks pretty bad fom this article. NWS says the wind speeds were around 130 mph. There's a video on the page and about 3/4 of the way through it shows the Co-Lin facility and they speak briefly with Dale Brand.
