Cuadra’s? (12 Viewers)

is a spec class with no manufacturer identity a viable product worthy of series sponsor money?
PS and PSB have very little exposure on the fox networks. should they be part of the mission/nhra show?
the 1/4 mile PM's that run the abbreviated nhra tour with their own sponsor seem to be doing just fine.
26 MMPS's @ nat. trail this weekend.
After the Pro Stock Truck legal drama, I don’t think NHRA would ever pull the plug on a pro class and go through another lawsuit. If there was only a handful of cars at some point then it would be easier to eliminate. The teams running have a huge investment in the class and if were to suddenly end, their equipment would be worth 25 percent of what it is now.

absolutely. if the class were to dissolve from where it is at right now, it would have to be on terms dictated by the team owners.
if elite and kb/titan could figure out a better business model. for example, and this is only a what if. what if ihra came to them and
provided a better financial model for the same amount of races, including media exposure? would they consider it?, or would
future uncertainty cause them to stay where they are at? (at this time, IMO ihra does not seem too concerned about 500 c.i. PS racing,
instead focusing on their PM and MMPS classes)

IHRA tried hosting a 500cu class last year. Nobody showed up so they dumped it.
