Unfortunately I’m not there. Just watching on NHRA.tv. They are running FC right now and the crowd seems fairly light. Guessing it may be around 65 percent.
The Friday crowds in Seattle have been light since night time qualifying in Seattle was ended (mostly because of insufficient lighting and a difficult curfew). But Saturday is usually almost full. This year was no different. We'll see what Saturday brings. I'm expecting tomorrow to be busy.

I was there. It was too loud and it scared me. Al, I will see you and your son and son-in-law in a couple of hours (Sat).
What the hell am I doing up at 4:30am posting, after 54 years of going to the drags. I'm still like a kid at Christmas time.
The weather is great this year, last year it was like racing on the sun!
Bob Button is running T/AD at Seattle. I think he is the only one running EFI on a blower motor. Saw him at Wild Horse earlier this year. Car can go 5.30's. Short field so he's already Q. Be interesting to see how the car runs.

It's pretty close. I think he's run 5.36 or .37, something like that, at the Div 7 race at Wild Horse. He just missed Q at the Div 7 race. I have followed Bob for a number of years. He has a job where he moves to different areas of the country. Used to live in Payson, AZ (high country) and he's run S/G, etc etc

As I expected, Saturday crowd was excellent. I thought I heard Alan say on the PA that it was a sellout today, but I might have not heard correctly because of engine noise. Either way an excellent turn-out.

That is excellent news. Like a lot of others, I am really anxious to get out and go to a national event. Seems like the fans are doing their diligence.
