Crazy day for heartland park Topeka...

This morning Topeka news announced that the buyer out of Minnesota for HPT had backed out of the deal to buy heartland park and all tentatively scheduled races for 2016 were cancelled...8 hours later they announced a firm out of Kansas City has purchased the track and already taken position.

Glad they're trying to get back on the 2016 NHRA schedule. That's always a good race.

I am HAPPY as hell that Jim Farnum is gone, he never seem like the right person to take over HPT. Shelby is the right group to take the track, inside the group iS years of Drag Racing experience and thats what it needed. What a way to start 2016 for Topeka, Racers, and the Fans.
