Bill, you'd actually be surprised b/c for some reason unknown to everyone else there are about 3 to 5 people around here who actually support it. I think they just feel the need to be different b/c it blows harder than a $2 hooker.
You are so right. I was so tired of PP saying the word 'clinched' with no other verbiage before or after it. What the hell does that mean out of context? Sounds like a wardrobe malfunction when referenced the way he said it a ton of times. Almost glad that time has passed to tell you the truth.

Well, I could be wrong, that's for sure.
On another drag racing BB (one made up primarily of Stock and Super Stock racers) I beat the drum like Buddy Rich, for a worse red light rule change for about a year, and in the final analysis, I couldn't even get the guys with the S-L-O-W cars (cars that would benefit the most often) to agree that it was a good idea.... so, I just gave up.
What seems like a foregone conclusion to me, isn't always seen as a good deal by others.
Guess it takes all kinds....

Polls done here as well as other news sites usually flow between 70-80% against the countdown. But hey I guess those 20-30% are more important to nhra then the rest us

I found out Sun. was rained out... I'm watching it on TV now... its still 1st round... Mike Dunn said something about Running in the "Countdown"... then followed his statement with "I better watch my back" if I say that" PP said I have you back covered

Jeff Arend wasn't in the Countdown, but I swear the yellow car was on my TV all night!! What gives! Doesn't make a bit of sense!
