#3 on that list is pretty darn good. The new car looks great!

Thanks Russ, I guess I should've added something as to who they are to eliminate more of the sarcastic "roll eyes" remarks. The Ashwell's, with driver Jeff Ashwell, have mainly raced in exhibition races locally at Woodburn Dragstrip in Oregon with the occasional Lucas Oil Division 6 race and the Seattle national event. Last year we did step up pretty good running our quickest and fastest pass to date and did that consistently throughout the year. That impressed our sponsors, mainly Napa Auto, to really step up their program with us to be able to run all the Division 6 races this year and hopefully 3 national events if all goes well. For our little operation we were quite pleased with our performance last year and can't wait to see how we do on the Lucas Oil side this season. I know not too many people here know who Jeff Ashwell is or his team, but hopefully by the end of the season that will change. :)

Another thing to add, Todd is the car owner and his brother Jeff is the driver and the crew chief is their dad Greg. They built their car and transporter from the ground up.

Chris! Back for your one post a year on mater, LOL! I'm at the hotel now just got the word from Reinhart they are drying the track, rained for over 3 hrs! Heading out there now!

Todd says the car looks even better in person and I think I know the guy that designed it. The Ashwell team is a great group of people and like Russ and everyone else in town, they have helped us a lot over the years. That's the great thing about this sport, we all help each other out as much as we can. I have really enjoyed watching the Ashwell team grow and improve every year. ProMotion Motorsports wishes them the best of luck in 2010!
