Some of the best stuff ever heard on the radio!! "Seventeen dollars, howzat?". That little line there is a favorite of mine to use on the kids whenever they ask how much something costs and it's usually followed by a blank stare.
Geez, it's a cold one out there this morning. Be worse tomorrow AM.
There is about 350 head right outside, but compared to "before wolves" that's not alot. We used to have about 600 here by this time of winter.
Hopefully the wolves will move on soon while we still have a few left..
I don't know what the temp is, but the sun is not shining, the wind is blowing and it's cold. I am going to have to wear sweaters today ...or dig out my jacket.
Yikes! I don't miss that cold weather AT ALL! I'll never forget what an old group leader said one night when we were walking out of the plant and it was about -10 degress. He said "Damn! You know it's cold when you feel your nuts suck up."
Chris, you mean when our wind chill is replaced by the heat index? When I lived in WA, I didn't understand these terms very well... I do now after a few years in Chicagoland.
