Seeing reports of a possible tornado going through Brownsburg with damage to a warehouse on Northfield Drive. Hope all the teams, Maters and everybody else in the path of the storm are safe.

Just after 9 p.m., an alleged tornado touched down just west of the Indianapolis metro area, hitting the Sur La Table Warehouse in Brownsburg.

There were numerous monster tornados on the ground tonight in Arkansas. I haven’t heard of any injuries yet. Probably because they hit when it was just getting dark. That’s the worst time for that to happen.
There has been a lot of damage noted.
Our governor has already made a disaster declaration to free up a lot of money for recovery efforts.
Most were north and east of my location. We got a bunch of rain, and are predicted to get about 10” from now until the weekend.
It’s still thundering here now. We’ve got things in our safe room in preparation in case we have to use it tonight.

JFR took a pretty big hit. 5-6 of the overhead doors were 'relocated' which lead to damage inside the building. All the rigs currently in use are in Vegas, so they escaped at least that much. No injuries that I've heard.

Here in far S. Illinois we were a SPC category 5 out of 5 as was Arkansas and multiple other states. Their was some tornado damage not close to us. We escaped with a severe t'stm warning and over an inch of rain. Flash flood watch remains in effect for here and multiple states. Here we could get up to 12 inches by Sunday, NWS is warning about possibly unpredecented flooding.

Mike, thanks for the update on JFR.

My son was on the road returning from Memphis on I-40 (about 40 miles south of Lake City) about 6pm or so and witnessed the storm which produced that thing. A scary reminder of the 1.5 mile wide F5 that I, he and the rest of my family went through in 1979 which at the time was the most costly tornado in US history. 20,000 people left homeless in five minutes.

I understand there were no fatalities in Lake City but extensive damage. At least there was some good news to come from it.
