Brittany Force Retiring

Will be unprecedented to start 2026, without a nitro driver named Force. Secretly, I'm hoping Ashley would consider running the dragster. For some reason she was my favorite Force daughter as a driver, I don't know why, just the reaction I get in my DNA. Though I do love them all. I do hope Jordan gets it, so he and Austin can be teammates. But either way, all the suggestions above are better than mine, I just have a soft spot in my heart for Ashley and would love for her to return for her children.
Is Autumn Hight still on the JFR plan to climb into a TAD soon?
I'm glad Leah is coming back after becoming a mother. I think Shirley had her son before she became big, but it seems like a lot of female racers do not return after becoming a mother, so rock on Leah!

Keep the car, keep Grubby and JC, poach Ashley. That’d be pretty tough to beat even with some inconsistent tuning in hot weather. I still think this will be different without John or a family member driving and John will rest up in retirement. Maybe within two years the operation becomes Prock family racing.

When that low voltage driver who is a very successful businessman and a solid if not flamboyant personally can bring a seven digit sponsorship with him does that turn up the juice a little bit?? Fourteen gallons of personality in the fuel tank won't get the car down the track very well

John: I think you misread my focus. No one said Hart was not a good driver ("...has done well in the seat"). Of course bringing money gets the attention of a team owner. Nowhere did I disagree with that. It has always been that way in every type of motorsports.

Just saying that dealing with media and sponsors (there are always multiple ones on the Force team out of economic necessity) and on camera skills seem to be one factor that owners and sponsors do look to these days. Hart is less verbal than others (I did not say he was flat affect, rather simply "...a little more low voltage than other options..."). Lots of different factors go into a decision to hire. That is but one.

The timing of his team sale and the Force announcement may well be significant. These deals are never overnight and are usually the product of prior discussions/negotiations.

The end of an era! Gainesville 2026 will be the first time in over 4 decades that the name FORCE will not be entered in a fuel class. There is a lot of speculation in the pits about the announcement. Some I hope are true (guesses on the driver) and some I hope are not (Prock family in their own F/C, JFR closing or reducing the team size). Only time will tell.

Chuck, Force was talking about expanding JFR, adding more teams and having the girls run the company

I'm not disagreeing with your perception of Josh. Not sure if you ever had the chance to meet what with him. I talked to him several times in his A/F dragster days and he was pretty engaging with me and other fans about his car, program (he was with Advance d Auto) and love of the sport. I believe what the pressure of team ownership off his back and going more rounds on the track you will see a bit of a difference guy in front of the camera. His struggles on the track only increase the pressure. Enjoy the discussion my friend 👍

Don’t forget about Rhonda Hartman, who found out she was pregnant with daughter Megan during a rain delay at the Gatornationals (husband John Smith filled in for the rest of the race). She came back only a year later and to no ones surprise Megan is now a racer herself in an A/Fuel car

Earlier in the year there was a mention on the NHRA.tv stream of a possible Prock family funny car team.

No - the sale makes it MORE likely to happen, because they are saying his R^L Sponsorship goes with him to another team; he just doesn't want to hassle of running the operation.
And he said he was going to drive next season
