I think I may need my sunglasses to read this forum!
Shannon's already said this is the last change! We have settled with this absolutely lovely bright and light (white) screen. So much better than the depressing black!

I wish there were an option to choose whichever you like. A couple other forums I post at have that option and it's nice to pick from 2 or more styles. I prefer the dark look myself. I have a decent size monitor (20.1" LCD) and it's calibrated for my photography and looking at this site feels like looking at a lightbulb because it's so bright.
