there are press releases out regarding nhra's newest 'official widget' with the 'official discount app'. in the article
they mention on-site activation at select nhra nat. events. i hope they are @ bir. i really want to see what they are trying
to pitch. to be honest, i never knew about them until rwr brought them aboard. i have tried to sample their offerings;
a ticket with an advertisement of 20% off, turned out to be more like a 5% savings, and you tie your money up way in advance
of ticket date.

no wonder live timing isn't working. looked at radar this morning and looked like it would clear by 9.
not the case. looks like it will clear by noon. one dryest summers ever in MN. want it to rain? have nhra come to town :rolleyes:
i was going to go very early this morning, but work said no. head over very early tomorrow.

They are not likely to change the OD. Del wants to try to run a restrictor plate under the blower. It’s been in the plans all along, they just need to test it.

The problem with this combo is that it will never front half very well. So it’s always going to back half better than the other combos. Del thinks a restrictor will kill 10-15 mph off the top. It might gain a little in the front, but not a lot.

It certainly is seeming controversial. I understand why they’re doing it, and I support it. I will say though, nothing beats a blown alcohol car for me, they are so wild and rowdy.
