BIR 2025 (11 Viewers)

american rebel beer did a great job of promoting itself. on track with TSR, in the pits, signage, the bandshell, and out @ judges. took a lap out back
before Q1 friday. they were handing out free american rebel light @ judges (single cans), plus they had the Q2 friday night promotion, complete with
a throne made out of 50 cases of beer. good stuff. a company activating to the fullest.

- clay finally gets past justin on a sunday. great weekend for parts plus team.
- that kalitta team is on a roll, at least the dragsters. the team to beat right now.
- friday was just plain hot, and humid. so hot that the shade of campground won out over some of the Q2 nitro runs. it was brutal.
- track seemed very good all weekend, but not great for some reason. Q3 was good, but the track was cool and so was temp. was expecing more, didn't get it.
- leverich family TF'r had a great showing. nice and clean respectable passes. in next breathe i would say ida did not. trying to build that team, but
there's something there they just can't figure out. IMO they should run much better than they do; i'll say the same for josh hart.
- not sure what happened to jr todd in final. those guys were on it the first three rounds yesterday.
- sucks when ron capps loses. even sucks worse when he loses in brainerd. we all love ron up here in MN
- local northern MN guy ryan hutar wins 1st nat. event stock wally over heavy hitter joe santangelo. it was decided at the finish line.
- there seems to be a little competition for the judges bar, and camp pallet. had a nitro blender in the zoo. they did judges and pallet on friday nite,
but saturday after fireworks it ended up at another place, which was just as rockin' as the other two.
BIR is on my bucket list seems like a great place to spend a weekend. Long way to travel though our home track is WWT, we live 2 hours away in far S. Illinois. Soon as the wife retires (3 yrs.) Brainerd here we come! Mike I'll PM you and you can be our hosts!!!?

I'd like to see Ida run Columbus.

JCM racing, and specifically ida's trailer, had the premier pit spot too. the very first trailer the fans see from bleachers, and walking
to pits. funny i didn't spend a lot of time in pits this year. had brother-in-law with me. we stopped in wheelie bar yesterday after E2. he likes
pull tabs, and apparently so does everyone else. the place was packed in middle of afternoon. we played about $40 worth and we got a couple
small winners. was also watching closed circuit tv of action on track. i went outside to watch the final 8 in STK, came back inside and he had cashed
in our small winners and pulled a $500! bonus, basically only paid for general admission, camping, + golf cart fee. got all my fun money back.

also: interesting that at least two runs over the weekend were 300 to the 1/8. i think they were brit's and DK's E3 runs. no mention of it on the PA.

Shawn Reed was great in the announcing booth. Courtney Enders is also very good at the end of the track interviews. It makes watching at home much better. As far as FOX repeating 1.5 hours when they switched back to the main FOX channel and having the graphic that said LIVE, well that is ridiculous. I can't wait for INDY!
