Austin Prock interview regarding his Q4 run (13 Viewers)

I really don't get why they intentionally posted this "Message to the Fans" on FB - I would think that Tasca racing would want to bury it. I get that we want to see real emotion from the drivers and that Prock is leaning in to his Black Hat persona but Amanda's question was "What do you want the fans to know ?" (I would assume she meant all fans, not just the haters) I would think a good answer would be that the team is getting better with each run and thanks to my loyal fans for sticking behind us and that the haters will continue to hate - and that's fine. Instead he assumed that she was just talking about the haters (as if he has no real fans) so his reply was that they don't know anything .... and he stomped off. Its going to be interesting to see where Tasca racing is at at the end of the season. It's like they could be the '26 FC champions or a total bust. Only time will tell.

Agreed all he had to say was something like "we thank the fans for their continued support, we are working hard to figure it out and we will be back soon". All he did and whomever posted it on Facebook did was to keep the BS going. If I was Ford, PPG and the other sponsors I'd be calling BT3 and telling him to put Austin in check.

SPOILED.............he was handed the best seat in FC. He has had the best of the best tuners, parts, cars, boss, and does not realize how good he has had it. He has never struggled. He believed they would go to Tasca and continue where they left off. Reality is going to upset his world.
Yes he has Dad and his brothers but the parts and pieces are missing. A few more weekends like this and he will have a total meltdown. Might not take til the end of the season for total implosion of the partnership. The real test of a person is how they handle the bottom not how they handle being on top.

What is that old saying?
No matter how much you polish it....

He is more spoiled than my cat, talk about a drama queen,i cant imagine how much drama is in his personal life, perhaps he could do a reality show lol

No interview after his E1 loss. Anybody catch it elsewhere or did Busick do her best to avoid the blast radius?
There was an interview on NHRA.TV after the E1 loss. He was composed and upbeat about making progress and having confidence in the team. No negativity.

Think back, how many BT3 interviews can you remember that were good? I sure don't.
The kid will learn, let him learn, it's his world.

He's no kid. Isn't he 30 years old? If he was 17, I might agree he is a "kid". He is way past the point of being a grown man, even though he does still have a "boyish" appearance. He should know how to properly behave at his age, especially with his stature in the sport as a Funny Car National Champion.
