I think it's a bit of an excuse. Buddy Hull's fire and oil down occurred down the track well after where Prock spun the tires. Prock was in the same lane has Buddy Hull and his run was immediately after Hull's fire/oil down.Blaming NHRA for not proper oil clean-up before his "up in smoke" Q4 run......justified or excuse?
Harry - you're right I think most of us still remember him punching that innocent tow vehicle last year and the dent it madeFrom reading all the comments above, nobody remembers when things didn't go well for Snake, Big, Shirley and others. Then getting a mic stuck in their face. This sport has lacked RAW Emotions for a long time.
How do you figure they did "John Dirty". Nobody here knows what happen behind the scene's for the whole Prock family to move over to Tascaeven during testing prior to the race they couldn't get the car down the track. at this point a DNQ couldn't happen to a better team and I hope to see it continue to happen with this group, especially with the way they did John dirty. Plus as pointed out the next 3 pairs after Prock made it down perfectly fine.
Thought they couldn't leave untill after Sunday's eliminations.Packing up their rig and dipping around midnight doesn't help the look either
His mouth will get him in trouble 1 day...Raw emotion is one thing but blaming the Nhra for something that is not true is a major lack of class and immaturity. I lost all respect for Austin, he needs to make a public apology to the Safety Safari at the next race. Bob, Jimmy and Thomas disappeared awfully fast too. Did that car ever go down the track in test # 1? Pretty sure it didn't in # 2. Nobody's perfect, when you get out of the car in that situation you don't have time to engage your brain before putting your mouth in gear but just own it!
