Hey, Tim, this is a bit off topic, but if no one has done so yet, I'd like to welcome you to the mater...I read your posts on Comp Plus (I lurk there but am not a posting member--seems to me there are too many people just waiting to decapitate a poster over there and I don't need that kind of aggravation) and enjoy what you have to say and the knowledge you bring to the table. After the Mets' collapse these last two weeks, be careful what you say to Lewis. But hell as a Red Sox fan, I know all about collapses-hell the Sox almost blew their 14.5 game lead over the Yankees this year-that would have been worse than 78. Alan, offer my condolences to Lewis when you see him this weekend and my congrats to Jim Samuels-he's a Phillies fan.

Hehe, thanks for the heads up Dave, I'm a Mets fan also, Lewis and I in Indy talked about how dissapointed we were with the team, then come Monday we were all excited again because we beat the Braves. It was that kind of season. That team just lacked a lot of heart. I still can't believe all season long we had that top spot, to losing it on the last day. The Sox though they held on, that's what good baseball teams do, yes the Mets have made me that kind of guy!
