.....hey Justin, I'm a fan and I was totally surprised to see MMA on regular tv channel, I thought the Kimbo fight was a good one :cool:

eh, it was ok. I preferred the WEC battle last night with the California Kid - Urijah Faber whipping up on Jens Pulver....;)

<raises hand>
Yeah, me.

That fight was such a crock.
CBS totally and blatantly tried to manufacture "Kimbo" into a "star".

I laughed when they were on the ground. They knew nothing!
White belt ground guys everywhere were cringing.
I wonder where or how the "debt collector" got that cauliflower ear.

Gina was looking good inspite of not having her heart into fighting.

I missed the end of the Faber/Pulver fight.

We got a UFC coming up next Sat.:cool:

I'm with Paul on this one. I thought it was a sham. Maybe not exactly fixed, but Kimbo looked exhausted midway thru the first round. And for Thompson to show up with that ear like that was asking to be beat. Had Thompson actually hit him when he had him down that fight woudl have been over in the 2nd round easy. I think Kimbo's going to get a big league azz whooping if he ever fights anybody decent.

I'm not a fan, but I watched Saturday and Sunday's and enjoyed it.
The card Sunday night was great. As a longtime "scripted" wrestling fan it really makes the WWE look silly. You ask yourself, "Self, why did you watch wrestling all your life." But I realize wrestling was far more believeable and interesting in the 80's, and 90's. Anyway...I enjoyed the fights Sat. and Sunday.
