Another good example of why you wear a seatbelt

Last night about 12:45 there was a knock on the door.The Washington State Patrol was standing there.He said your son has been in a car wreck
Boy, talk about making make your butt pucker! He said he's alright(phew!)
It seems as he was getting off the freeway he fell asleep & judging by the fact there was no skid marks it seems he was going a pretty good speed & went through the stop sign, across the road, hit the guard rail went up in the air over an embankment & when he landed the nose dug in & the car flipped up & the roof smacked a tree. He went about 75 feet off the roadway & about 15 feet down.The amazing part is he only got 7 stiches in his hand & a concussion.
It was another example of your seatbelt saving your life!
He's one lucky boy.

I'm with Martin, Jenn and Karl here! Very glad you get to keep your son around for another season. So many don't with crashes far less tragic than that one. Someone was watching over you guys Mike.
