I predict that it won't be anywhere nearly as heavily criticized as Troy Critchley's deal because no kids were killed.

Looks like it really took off when the tire dried off. My first thoughts just before that were "Hm. An engine/motor you don't have to worry about over-revving." Looks like the flipside might be TOO much RPM/momentum. I'm thinking a rev limiter for the burnout?

My drill's got the little knob on the trigger......:D

400 horsepower from 175 lbs?

What did he say at one point when an ambulance is mentioned? "Don't say things like that. You know? I've seen someone killed on a dragstrip. It's the most dangerous motorsport......" I guess the guy knows nothing about Formula cars.

Like the poster of the video said, no safety equipment.

Okay, now I make out "The throttle stuck."

sometimes bad things happen to stupid people.....yup no sympathy here. I just hope no one else was hurt.

dumbass wasn't even wearing a helmet......
I am sure he thought nothing would go wrong. Same as Troy Critchley and the Monster truck driver that plowed into a crowd. Now, granted, I bet Troy had his helmet on, which meant he was indeed concerned about safety, just not outside the car. That right there might be is downfall. IF he thought it important enough to put on a helmet and strap up, then he for sure knew the dangers. This idiot, maybe not.

If you ask me, all 3 of them should be serving sentences that are 20 plus years if it involved a death. Multiply it by the death count and go from there.

If any of the accidents involved an illegal alien, some here would be calling for the death penalty.

I don't think any of them should (or could) be CRIMINALLY punished unless they were breaking LAWS that were already on the books. What kinds of sentences would you give to the COPS who were blocking the road off and telling the crowds to get back so Troy could run? How many people would you have to sentence from that event?

As I've said before, I think it's ridiculous that we punish based on results and not just intentions. Two people can shoot store clerks in seperate robberies and you know there'll be different sentences if one lives and one dies. What if one was trying to kill and failed? You're telling him "We're giving you a break due to your incompetence."

I don't even think anyone should get more in civil court than medical expenses and burial costs. Someone asked me on another board (who ended up calling me a hater of dead kids) how much I think one of the fathers should get. I said "The same amount of money he would have accepted for his son's life if he were still alive."

Edit. LOL, oh, wait. I thought you meant if illegal aliens got killed. LOL, I was THINKING wanting the death penalty then would be your department. Thought you were turning conservative on us!

I want the death penalty for the one(s) involved in the New Jersey executions. If one did what Troy did, I wouldn't want anything other than what I said above, plus deportation.
