It's a 6 Mark.Is that car a four cylinder
Thanks , back when we ran a B/A Rampy ran a six in a altered, I was sick Fast and very hard to beat in comp, the out of the box guys are sure fun watchIt's a 6 Mark.
From what I know (which isn't much, I'm just a professional spectator), 100psi is accurate. They use billet blocks and stuff now. When I interviewed Rod Harvey (who ran 259mph) last year he said some teams can repeat, others make one hit and go back on the trailer - so these guys are certainly pushing the boundaries.I don't know how they get that much power out of those engines. What are they - 3.0 liters or so, competitive with 8 liter big blocks....we're talking nearly 20hp per cubic inch, nearly as much as a Top Fuel engine....I don't know the specs but I'd imagine they're running 100 pounds of boost or maybe more. Oh, what a feeling....![]()
