All Three Procks leaving JFR (1 Viewer)

So who would be an ideal replacement driver on the Cornwell Tools funny car? If they were going with someone with experience, Tommy Johnson would be a great pick. Bobby Bode would be a great addition. I would love to see Lyle Barnett or Steve Jackson but highly unlikely they would turn to a rookie. It would be really cool if Ashley Force got back behind the wheel but I don’t think she is wanting to get back into full time racing yet.

I really hope Ashley drives again one day. Unlikely, but I can keep wishing it be true. She was my favorite of all the Force girls.

Interesting dynamics if they do go to Tasca. Bob has been floundering for 2 years and wants a championship badly. But he will have a big hill to climb to beat his ''new teammate''

If I understand correctly, the consensus here on Nitromater seems to be that Cornwell Tools is a company brought to Force by the Procks, and therefore Cornwell would be moving with the Procks to Tasca or wherever they end up. If so, who would be the primary sponsor for the Force Funny Car #2?

What about Jordan Vandergriff as the new driver replacing Austin Prock? Hasn't he been under some sort of development deal with Force for a few years?

Well, since everybody is saying that the future is A I , I decided to ask it what it thought and it spit out this answer ...

"The rumored Funny Car operation with deep ties to John Force is Bob Tasca III's team, which is reportedly being eyed by Austin Prock and his father/crew chief, Jimmy Prock, for a potential partnership. The Prock family has confirmed their departure from John Force Racing, and sources suggest they will align with Tasca, with an expansion to a second Funny Car team for the 2026 season. "

I went to ChatGPT and it said
  • "Most likely scenario (with current info): The Prock family is very likely to join Tasca Racing for the 2026 NHRA season, based on strong insider reports.
  • But it's not 100% locked in: There remains some uncertainty, primarily due to the lack of a formal public announcement and potential sponsorship questions."
So if this isn't the case, we should be able to defeat the upcoming Terminators with a simple cup of water.....

I'd like that myself, but I have no idea what Jordan could bring to the table in the form of a sponsor. Would Cornwall back Vandergriff? I dunno. DeJoria, on the other hand, is someone I like and respect also despite her consistent inconsistencies at the tree. The question of what she can bring financially to JFR doesn't even need to be discussed, does it?

That would bring up a dilemma for JFR....if they had to choose would they prefer a driver who brings lots of money or one who can contend for the Championship? Let's face it; she's not Austin Prock.

I don't recall reading that, but I could be wrong. Being a top crew chief and procuring sponsorships doesn't sound like something Jimmy Prock would be interested in.

It's one thing if a driver or crew chief leaves, but a sponsor is another. If Tasca is the landing spot. How would he offer the same amount of visibility as JFR?

Not to many people wanna work for tasca from what ive heard
All you have to do is watch the reaction of BT3s dad BT2 whenever the car doesn't go down the track. Definitely "NOT A HAPPY CAMPER". He and Jimmy Prock have totally different personalities.

Well after reading all of this,
Tony aligned with Elite leaving Hagan and Leah as MOPAR.
Procks go to TSR Elite camp and maintain Chevy with all the other Camaros.
I am sure TSR Elite could come up with the cash, ownership for Prock to run especially if Cornwall stays on.
