Was looking at alky elims. In TA/FC, Sean Bellemeur ran 5.359 ET. Is that the quickest ever for this class? In T/AD, Shawn Cowie ran 282.54. Is that the fastest MPH for blown alky?

The B's 5.352 is still best in this country,

But Cheyne Phillips went 5.349 in TAFC Down Under earlier this year. (Different rules package)

So the rumor was Ray Martin purchased Worsham’s TAFC legal Nitro funny car. He is entered in Vegas. Anybody know if it’s the Worsham car? Also I see Will Martin entered in Vegas in TAFC. He was testing in Tucson a few weeks ago. Is it an injected nitro car or the single fuel pump Nitro car? I saw some videos of him testing but not sure what combination he is running.

Slightly off topic; I will be crewing for the Nitro Clown team next year, going for the Nitro Chaos championship. Dave is currently converting his IHRA big show Funny Car into a Fuel Altered, and will be running the Worsham (single mag blown Nitro) combo.

Ray did purchase the Worsham TAFC. But it wasn’t him testing Tucson. That was Will Martin. Different Martin, different car, but same combo.

Yeah I was aware it was two different Martins. Will’s looked like a big show car but didn’t know the combo. I know his plans at one point was to go big show racing in IHRA. Ray’s car in Vegas is entered as a Camaro which wouldn’t be the Worsham car. I do know the entry list isn’t always 100% accurate on the car entry. Thanks for the info.

I wish they would include the chassis MFG with the info. Naming the body doesn't do much, considering a decal can make a Mustang into a Camaro. lol
