Suzie I don't know how old you are, but do you remember the Summer of 1980? Dallas had like 45-50 straight days over 100! It's ALWAYS hot in the summer in Texas, my sisters and Brother in Houston bitch about it all the time.

I remember it very well. I even went to Six Flags during the heat wave, boy was I stupid back then!!! We fried an egg on the sidewalk. It took about 25 minutes, but it cooked it!!!

I was just reminded of Something, my father was Born in Ft. Worth, Tx. in 1923. I remember him telling me the ONLY place's one could find any kind of Air conditioning in those days was Supermarkets or the Local Movie theater. Homes did not have A/C till the 1950's, We have it easy compared to then believe me!

Jim, add about 50% humidity in the Summer there in Phx. and see how miserable it is. The Term Dry heat does make a difference believe me! I've been in Phx. when it's been 110 and it is HOT, but Texas Heat is like a Wet Blanket you can't get away from.
