Suzie I don't know how old you are, but do you remember the Summer of 1980? Dallas had like 45-50 straight days over 100! It's ALWAYS hot in the summer in Texas, my sisters and Brother in Houston bitch about it all the time.

I remember it very well. I even went to Six Flags during the heat wave, boy was I stupid back then!!! We fried an egg on the sidewalk. It took about 25 minutes, but it cooked it!!!

I was just reminded of Something, my father was Born in Ft. Worth, Tx. in 1923. I remember him telling me the ONLY place's one could find any kind of Air conditioning in those days was Supermarkets or the Local Movie theater. Homes did not have A/C till the 1950's, We have it easy compared to then believe me!

This is not the place to become educated on Global Warmimg...
You guys barely know a lick about drag racing yet anything at all about our global economics and conditions for the future....

Let's stick to the fan base nonsense of drag racing, pics, who's in the driver's seat??, etc...it's much more enjoyable than your current three ring circus of the same players...

Suzie I don't know how old you are, but do you remember the Summer of 1980? Dallas had like 45-50 straight days over 100! Several Senior citizens in Resting homes died because of A/C failures! It's ALWAYS hot in the summer in Texas, my sisters and Brother in Houston bitch about it all the time.

Tucson- regularly 100 over 100... Why do you think Reinhart loves going on the Western Swing?!?!:D

Terry, I can promise you this. If I ever have a question about either one of those topics, it won't be you who I will ask for guidance. You have proven enough already that you don't know squat about either topic.

He just does this to aggrivate all of us.

Terry, this kind of negativity causes premature wrinkles and shrinkage!

Al Gore is not a person to educate anyone on anything, other than maybe scamming the public. He's pretty good at doing that.

Suzie - You go get 'em Girl !!! As far as you wimps in Texas, 45 to 50 days over 100 degrees would be considered a cold wave here - ;) Typical year here is 100 days over 100 (but it's a dry heat). Third week in June is usually 116-118, then we get Monsoons! Sorry, just couldn't resist - :D

Jim, add about 50% humidity in the Summer there in Phx. and see how miserable it is. The Term Dry heat does make a difference believe me! I've been in Phx. when it's been 110 and it is HOT, but Texas Heat is like a Wet Blanket you can't get away from.

That's what you cook with dry heat!

I like the wet blanket theory! Then there are the mosquitos that are as big as birds!

Yeah, you'll never hear a "majority of them voting Democrat" media suggest that Al Gore might have less than genuine motives on his environmentalist lecture tour? As in "The sky is falling and you need us to save you"? Create a crisis while "conveniently" offering to be a savior?
