so cal car culture is a national treasure and should probably have a place in the smithsonian (if it doesn't already).
these old ocir videos should be part of the display........this is an excellent interview.
 
Good ol Orange County, what a track, was there opening day in August of 67 and closing day (for nitro) on October of 83, dang those strips were tasty!

Whenever somebody thinks of So Cal drag racing in the ‘60s and ‘70s, they always end up thinking about OCIR and their iconic timing tower.
I’m envious of those who got to watch fuel racing there.
